My name is Yasmien Knubben,  fashion designer and tailor. I grew up on the funfair, a world full of movement, colour and character. It taught me to be independent, social and driven – values that still shape everything I do.

After graduating cum laude from AMFI with a focus on upcycling, tailoring, and concept-driven design, I now create collections that balance precision with play. With over three years of experience working in bridal fashion as a stylist and tailor, I’ve developed a sharp eye for detail and craftsmanship. At the same time, my love for contrast pushes me to explore bold, unexpected combinations – like fine tailoring with glittering chaos.In my work, I honour where I come from, while reimagining what fashion can be. Whether it’s through repurposed materials or surreal silhouettes, I design to surprise and to remind people that you can take the girl out of the funfair, but never the funfair out of the girl.
